Hello.I have a customer outside of Houston, TX with a home built in 2000, presumably with original GA windows, who needs quite a few spiral balances replaced. The spiral balance rod measures 30", with a 3/8" diameter. Single hole and barb at the bottom for the shoe and a single screw hole at the top ... (cont.)

This window has no shoes on it now. It is a 3/8" non-tilt Spiral Balance, with two holes at the bottom, 1/2" apart. The window frame channel is about 1" wide.and about .65" between the frame and the sash. I can't visualize how the shoe fits on the window. There is a hole now on the bottom of the sas ... (cont.)

Aluminum non tilt windows. lower sash weighs 10lbs tubes are 25" long and are 9/16 diameter. House was built in 1967, almost all are broken. some of the lower brackets are bent. Hello. Trying to replace window balances at home. It looks like the tips are yellow or orange but your website doesn't offer either option. They measure 30 inches as shown. What would be the appropriate replacement parts for these? Thank you for your time and have a good day! Ricky ... (cont.)

I don't see any clips or fasteners at the bottom of the non-tilt window. I was able to remove the defective balance from the bottom so I assume the unseen clip is damaged. Do I have to remove the window and if so, how is this done?

I can't find a replacement spiral window balance with the correct shoe at the bottom. Can you help?

It will only allow me to send 5 at a time. I will send more in a few minutes. These are clips that are getting very old and they keep the window straight I think. Also the lifts are breaking and look to be rusting. I will send more photos. Debbie

I've ordered and installed conventional balances from Swisco.com before. But this non-tilt balance has me stumped. It's an irregular shaped non-tilt window.
