hi, mine is 17" and the tip is green. Not sure which color to order as green wasn't an option? I dont have a scale here to weigh the sash. its a hurricane impact window and total weight is 51 lbs.

have the shoes and a few new balances. I will need, a some point new 300 series Caldwell balances and should probably need new shoes, but for now I only need the wind up tool with the claw on the end to twist the spring.

There are no brand markings on the windows or parts. The balance measures 29.5 inches from tip to tip. I need to order the proper type. There are no cords in the existing balances. I just installed new balances (S600 32 inches black tip) and when I lift my sash all the way to the top it drifts about 4 inches... but when I lift just half the way or less it works fine. It keeps the window in until it Is needed to tilt out.
