I have two questions. I am looking at 82-002 to replace the broken lock on the patio door, but there are some differences. 1) Do you think it will fit? The measurements are perfect. 2) As you can see from the picture, the door handle/pull fits under the screws. Will I be able to attach the current ... (cont.)

Just moved into the house and the latch that the hook would lock into on the inside railing is missing. It appears the 82-002 would work, but does the part come with the latch? Can I order the latch by itself? The screwholes measure 6.5"

Does this lock set fit a door with a thickness of 1.5 inches? This means that the lock hook must be .75 inches from the inside face to properly meet the keeper. Thank you.

Looks like 82-002 but is 8 inches top to bottom. installed and a Lawson slider 29 years ago

The lock doesn't function and we can't lock our door. AGC is imprinted on glass (see enclosed pic). I need replacement so we can secure the door. Thanks,John

I have an Alenco 3 panel patio door. Each panel is 34x91. The lock mechanism is the standard one sold ta Lowe?s and Home Depot and it is a touch too small. The screws see to be about 6 5/8? apart. The lock is broken & as best as I can figure it is the main sliding plate, that is attached to the J hook that needs to be replaced. The assembly is from a DNS 16 sliding patio door lock. I was looking for a Marvin Screen Stop and sill strike. Part # 05700030 or 05700029. The handle is a Ultimate Screen Handle or a Marvin sliding screen door. The handle is okay, I just need the locking latch.
