The photo shows my door, but it appears there is a cover plate missing that covers the latch assembly and extends beyond the length of the latch assembly. We need to buy a replacement lock for a Guardian sliding glass door. The length is 6 1/8 inches. The width is 3/4 inch. The measurement from center of top hole to bottom hole is 5 7/16 inches.

Hello, I just ordered this lock and the screws have the correct placement, etc. but the part of the lock that is inserted into the door is more squared then the door opening (and the steel insert that is already placed inside of the door). I believe Item 82-227, which I received, is actually measured from the center of the top mountain screw hole to the center of the bottom screw hole. no markings found on this hardware,i do have installation instruction for this lock indicating the lock could be #2300 or #2320 mortise lock . not sure which one it is . any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi. The latch part of our lock on our sliding glass door broke. The only identification on the latch says DNS Miami,Fl. It measures 6 1/8" from top to bottom. I am only finding parts that measure 6 5/8 inches or closer to 3 inches. Am I measuring wrong? We don't want to replace the whole handle if w ... (cont.)
