82-227 Mortise Lock, 5-3/8"

I am looking for some replacement handles and wondered if you could offer some suggestions for that?

My lock does not stay locked. I think this is the part I need. I just want to verify that with you. Thanks, Cary F

Need a keyed lock set for this door. Slider door screw distance is 5 3/8 top to bottom.

Looking for a replacement part for a Jaffee sliding glass door. The distance from the outside screws is 5 3/8" and from the inside screws is 3 3/4" Appreciate your help. Frank

My 3 panel sliding glass door is a PPG Herculite K. Part No. 16CFR1201 C11. The latching system is broken. Further, while removing it a second time to take it to Home Depot for part ID, the system dropped down inside the door so I can not access it at all. (ok with me). I need a new one, please. ... I am looking for a replacement lock for my patio door. It is approximately 3/4" x 6 1/8". There are no markings on the lock assembly or the door. I have attached pictures.

I tried to replace my mortise with your 82-218. As you can see, it looks identical to me. The broken lock mechanism is gone - we have tried several that looked like they should fit but were too big - any ideas?

Which lock/handle do you recommend to replace this lock in which someone enlarged the opening incorrectly. I am able to enlarge the lock opening slightly to get a larger lock to fit. Thanks, Larry

I've received the items I ordered, but am having a hard time figuring out how they go together. The latch has the black lever handle and the black round thing that goes into the plastic part that's on the back of the handle, but the part that I think that goes into the brass lock area has a black ... I need to replace the lock as when I took it off the plastic item was cracked in half. It was loose and I was going to add wood filler, but it won't help if it's broken. I don't want a keyed lock. June Rubicuski

I believe I have a 14 year old Kinco sliding door. I need to replace the handle and lock with a lock setup that can be locked or unlocked with a key. I have a Hurd Sliding Door made after 1993. I attached a photo of the mortise lock and the handle plate brace. The handle and lock on handle appear ok, but I believe the mortise lock is broke. Is 82-211 the best replacement? The lock is 3/4 inch thick. Thank you!
