S351-27 27" Series 351 Channel Balance

I have a broken channel balance JQ 26 5 Caldwell. It is 26 7/8 inches metal tip to metal tip.

My guide is a 27" non tilt window balance block and tackle stamp 26-4. My question is: is the 26-4 stamp the same as 2640?

stamped BSL 2640. believe bottom is 15-002

I need to replace 27" 351 channel balances. The originals are stamped "162" on the sides. What stamp option should I order. I also need to replace 29" 351 channel balances. They originals are stamped 182 on the side. What stamp option should I order?

Question 1 - My measurement of the channel is 27" . I don't know how to read the stamp on the channel, which reads " 26-5 1X CMC 7. Should I use my measurement of 27". Can you tell me if these are the 351 series balancer 27" long .The stamp read 26 5 JW CMC 7. On the shorter balanced is read 12 1 BSI TD .I measure it and it 12 1/2 " long .

There is no actual stamp on the old channel balance but in ink it reads, "26 9 34#" then "DL CALDWELL." That is all it reads. There is no other stamp. The pics of the 351 series look the same but I don't know how to choose a sash weight. The sash is approximately 28 H x 44 w. Does the "34#" indic ... (cont.)

The only markings found are on the metal bar 284 D1. Bar is 29 inches long 9/16 wide. Windows have Jordan marked on the locks and are about 26 yrs old. I think they are Series 390 since I do not see any flanges of plastic sticking out and they seem to be the closest match in the photos. If these ph ... (cont.)

This is for a non-tilt window. The metal portion measures 27" X 9/16". It has the following stamped onto the metal, "26 4 KO CALDWELL". I would guess a Series 351, but don't know how to judge the weight, based on the numbers stamped on the metal. Thanks.

Hello I am looking for 2 replacement assemblies for an IWC vinyl non-tilt window. The channel measures 9/16" and is 27" long. It has markings in blue 26 4 DV CMC 7. the string and pulley broke in one of the old ones. pictures attached thank you dave

I have indentified channel bal 351 series It is stamp as 2630 on it and my metal part lenth is 26 1/2" please advise me immediatly i shoud go with 27 inch or 26 inch

I ordered a few S351 27" Sash balances. I have installed them and the weight seems right. When closing the balance the springs make a loud twang noise. I just want to be sure before I place my order... The metal part of the sash measures 27". The stamping on the side is as shown 26-D-40. Hi. I need 2 types of channel balances please. 1st being 27" long, 1/2' wide, stamped 2630. 2nd being 17" long, 1/2' wide, stamped 1630. please see attached for end pieces.

the code on my channel balance is 26 5 EC CMC 2 the channel is almost 27" but is 26" from the ends of the guide. it appears to use guides 19-002 & 15-002
