All windows in my house have the same balances. They are all double-hung wood sash windows. The house was built in 1986. There are no four-digit codes on the balance, only "B.S.I." and a two-digit number (on this window, "28", other windows have the numbers "20" or "36"). What type of balance is thi ... (cont.)

Broken slider part. Where to get part and pull down retracted cord

I need to replace a flat channel balance. It is a 35 inch balance from end to end. It has a clip at the end that is used to insert the balance into the window frame.

Guys, I have vinyl clad double hung wood windows in vinyl jam liners I think that theses are NORCO windows are are about 25 years old. The photos don't show the spring well because I couldn't figure out how to remove it. The balance spring is against the outside-facing edge of the channel, and I didn't see a screw or other removable fastener. The sheet metal that surrounds the spring appears to be held by a pin. Tilt in window 31 inches long metal piece 5/8 wide I can't get tilt out foot out of track. I think thats 1 inch wide Stamped 30 HD on side. I want to order everything for contractor to install.

I was wondering if you have any replacement sash balances along with 2 additional clips for double hung tilt windows.

These are for Republic Windows out of Chicago, IL. It's a tilt window, plain channel and looks very similar to your 770 series except at the top. Instead of the round plastic like wheel my window balance has a clip(see photo attached) it also at the top has a pin for the spring to attach to (see pho ... (cont.)
