I was hired to fix this window and 2 more just like it. 8' tall and 3' wide wood double pane windows. Top sash has been made fixes by somebody adding some brackets. The sash is very heavy. The cords on the balances are hanging loose at the bottom.

Hello, These are pretty old windows but in good shape. We have 3 windows where the piece at the bottom of the balance, the blue piece in the pic, has broken and thus the balance does not hold the window up. Tilt-in double hung windows, most likely from Home Depot, although origin is unknown as I am the second owner of the house. Balancer mounts to inside of window casement by a 'hook'. I ordered 4 of your 751 channel balances for original Marvin Tilt PAC window. While I see the shoe comes assembled, does it include the short and long clips? I see you sell them separately.

please help. plain square channel balance. 24" long, code on back "924". top has hook, bottom has eyelet that clips into shoe. shoe is 9/16 thick. looks to be similar to S770 with out the clip at the top. please advise

I have two tilt windows, manufacturer unknown, with these balances. The channels are stamped 32F and are 32" long, 9/16" wide. Good Afternoon: I have 4 channel balances that I need to replace. Windows / tracks manufactured in about 1995 from RIVCO out of NH. Channels are 25 inch with h 24 stamped on back. I want to make sure I am ordering correct channel balance unit.

Very similar to series 770 but the one I have has an extra rivet at the top where it hooks on to the window channel.

can i get the series 770 balance with a rivet for an s hook instead of the screw cap?

Pictures show the old balancer and that part that slides into the plastic track where it meets the part that holds the balancer's string. I have a tilting double hung "craftsman bronze" window installed in August of 2004. The window label is dated 07/13/04 - 3. The interior is wood and the exterior is a bronze colored metal. Attached are photos of my broken window balance and shoe. The channel balance is marked 24E BSI. I don't know the manufacturer of the window.
