For Series 380 balances when stamped 28D the 2840 is the match, however, the 2840 stamp will be on a balance measuring 29", not 28". Are heavier duty 29 inch channel balances available from Swisco. I have ordered online from Swisco and was very satified. New E2R double glazed windows are heavier than standard double glazed -hence the need.
