15-087 Coil Housing Pivot

Hi, lower sash of my American craftsman window broke and it doesn't keep open any longer. I can open the window but it won't keep open with me putting something to hold it. Is there a way to fix it?

All I know is, I'm having a hard time opening and shutting my window. I don't know if that's the Spring that helps me open the window, I just don't know anything about this. I'm going to order some window tilted lashes, but I guess I should wait until I get an answer from you so I can order everythi ... (cont.)

I'm needing a double balance coil for my customer. The size of the main body of the coil is approx. 4-1/16" x 1-1/4". The thickness is around 9/16". There is also no stamp on either balance coil, only the patent number. All photos attached are of the coil that needs replaced.

I believe this is called a coil spring balance, but there are different styles of them. I would like to know how I can determine what a proper replacement would beI believe American craftsman makes this window from Home Depot

Hi,,, can you supply a part number for these so i order correctly ?? i need both sides,, ... I had purchased to coils before and they seem to be fine but both plastic shoes are now broke.... Thanks much ! Greg...

Hi am trying to track down these couple of parts for my window. 2 broken coil springs and 2 top slides broken. Help please. Thank you

The window springs are 9/16" thick, 1 3/8" wide to fit the tracks. The corner latch wraps the side.

Can I get a replacement part like the one in photo

I'm trying to find the part that is connected to window in photo 1 as photo 2 shows that part being broken and window not connected. I don't know what's it called just trying to get my windows fixed.

I have a few windows with broken spring balance system. All my windows were installed in 2002. I'm unable to find replacement parts, since Schuco residential dept. no longer supports old windows. I hope you may have info that will help me order replacement parts Thank you

I need to get a replacement balancer for the left side as looking from inside house for a tilt out single hung verticle slider. Markings show 8 for the top spring housing no marking on the bottom housing that I could see. Guessing 10 or 12? Also need the spring hook tool recommended for this as well ... (cont.)

Must you use a balance with the "L" stamp on the left side or could you just flip one stamped "R" over?

Coils have an 8R and 8L also missing retainer. Windows were purchased from a local manufacturer and installer named Kelly Windows.

I have Gorell 5300 series double hung windows that I need to replace the springs and pivot shoes, will this spreader work or do I need to cut the frame? I would like to remove one so I can see if there are any part numbers on the springs and shoes to make sure I order the correct items. Thank you ... (cont.)

Window weighs approximately 13.6 pounds

The parts are for Anderson Silver-Line windows that are 10 years old.This appears to be a combined unit (spring and shoe) where the spring has broken. The clear plastic triangle shaped piece is what holds the spring in place mid-frame.Please note the "7" on the shoe. These windows use 2 per sash; on ... (cont.)
