15-087 Coil Housing Pivot

Some of the spring coil's have failed in the sash lifting modules . They appear to be modules (three on each side of the larger windows). All of the pivot pins have rusted out. Bathroom single-hung window, about 6-8 years old. It appears that the coil on both sides has snapped. I am reluctant, as a first-time window repairer, to take the coils out until I know whether I can find replacement parts. I have Traco Power II double hung windows that tilt. The window balances on the upper/outside window broke. A picture is attached. I have 2 questions: 1. Are parts available? 2. Thanks for posting. This looks like our 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot. This is compatible with our Series 180 Coil Balances. if you need to replace the balances as well, look for stamps on the actual coil springs; those should indicate the spring weights you need. It's difficult to say for certain what you need without seeing the coil balance system removed from the window, but what you show looks like our 15-086 Coil Spring Housings. They connect to the 15-087 Housing Pivot, and use our Series 180 Coil Springs. You will need to re ... (cont.)

the springs have broken on 2 windows. on a sticker at the top of the window are the following numbers 491564 041995 and below that is TR9N TBAG DSLE. The other number appear to be size measurements. For a gorell window.Need a pivot barIt is u shaped channelApprox 3 inches long by 3/16 highThe bottom of the u is approx a quarter of an inch..may need a shoe for this

Each side has either 7R or 7L. Needed for Norandex double hung tilt windows.

I believe the window needs a new channel installed, as I do not see one. However, there are balances. The top window will not stay up or closed unless windows are in locked position.
