The metal part of the balance is 35". The pivot shoe is 1 1/2" wide, 2 1/16" tall 1/2" thick. 3500 is stamped on the balance.

Thanks for writing in. Could you show us a clearer picture of the clip at the end of the nylon cord? I believe this may be a Series 770 Channel Balance, but it would best to see this clip to confirm. Balance is 35 inches long the window block is separate and connected by a string with a metal collet.

The stamps on channel balances I need to replace are 3500 BS1 and 2900 BS1 used in tilt windows (top sash is fixed). Since I need eight 35s and 12 29s, I wanted to make sure I ordered correctly. I'm thinking the 770 model is it based on website appearance. Please advise.
