This seems to match what I am looking for but I wanted to know if the pin pushes down below the plastic casing (open on the bottom) or if it stops at the plastic bottom of the casing (closed bottom).

I am looking at bifold door hardware and I am wondering if some of the hardware is made out of aluminum. Like for example 23-114, 23-112, 23-139, 23-135, 23-506. And I am wondering if this piece, 23-312 is made out of some sort of steel or not.

The corner of rail is cracked. The rail width is one inch, however where the rail is crack it is 1'1/4-3/8". The rail is 35 1/2inches by 1 inch wide and half inch depth. I just had installed 72" 4-panel bi-fold doors and 60" 4-panel bi-fold doors. Both are from Jeld-Wen.
