I ordered the 15-192 shoe after sending a photo to Swisco Help The shoe that were sent to me are too small. The part that goes into the shoe will not fit because it is larger than the shoe. Both coil spring balances are at the bottom of the side window track. I haven't time to take them out yet too examine, but think I need new balances, but don't know which ones. Also, uncertain about the shoes until I remove them.

I have simington double hung windows from1990 s and some 2000 ,older window balances have a plastic spool , many are cracked and no longer allow window removal or tilt down for washing. Hi, I came across your site looking for a balance assembly for a Simonton 6500 Double Hung window. I've attached pics of the assembly: double coil with 408 stamped on the coil. as you can see in the part pic the plastic peace attached to the coil spring is broken. the second pic is unit mounted in window tract. I think I need the two plastic parts and the metal spool? Hello, I am trying to find the replacement part/parts that match the parts in the pictures. Following up on a recent conversation with a SWISCO service gentleman and sending more information on the coil balance replacement parts I am looking for to use on my CertainTeed double hung tilt window. Travel distance is 16" and window weight is 12 pounds. Only one coil balance is broken so unsure ... (cont.)

I'm undecided which replacement I need. The certainTeed 15-192 matches measurements but the configuration is different in minor ways. The only text I find is"China". There is one coil balance per side.

The part I'm looking for connects the balance to the sash plastic piece that rides in channel in window frame with round metal piece that allows window to tilt in.The Simonton windows were manufactured 4/21/11 I assume there is a left and right for each sash. Thank you
