Hi. I ordered parts for another CertainTeed window some time ago. I have another Certainteed window now with broken balance feet. The feet are too corroded to read any parts numbers. Most of the parts I have from previous order appear to match this window, except for the pivot bars. The broken ... (cont.)

The dimensions on the drawing of the (15-192) appear to be correct for my frames, but the new shoes have small guides that prevent them from fitting into the track. I ordered the 15-192 shoe after sending a photo to Swisco Help The shoe that were sent to me are too small. The part that goes into the shoe will not fit because it is larger than the shoe. Both coil spring balances are at the bottom of the side window track. I haven't time to take them out yet too examine, but think I need new balances, but don't know which ones. Also, uncertain about the shoes until I remove them.

I have simington double hung windows from1990 s and some 2000 ,older window balances have a plastic spool , many are cracked and no longer allow window removal or tilt down for washing. Hi, I came across your site looking for a balance assembly for a Simonton 6500 Double Hung window. I've attached pics of the assembly: double coil with 408 stamped on the coil. as you can see in the part pic the plastic peace attached to the coil spring is broken. the second pic is unit mounted in window tract. I think I need the two plastic parts and the metal spool?
