I have two windows that I just replaced the inside spring valance (I bought them from SWISCO) and when I load the windows this piece is broken on one side of each of the two windows. Thanks for posting. I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what it is you're asking for. A channel balance shoe is specifically the attachment at the bottom of the metal channel. I need to replace a channel balance but all I have is an ink identifying number of 32 4GK Caldwell. The metal part only is 33" long it's 1/2" wide and has a 1" plastic end. I am looking for the plastic piece that goes in the tract for the window. I believe it is called the balancer shoe. It is at the top of the sliding window and holds the balancer in place.

The rope on my window balance broke and so the window only hangs on one balance that has the rope intact.
