Hello, The pivot pin is 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide. The screw holes are 1 3/16" and 1 7/8" o/c from the pin side. I would appreciate Any help you can provide in supplying me with this part. I need to replace the spiral balance springs in some old windows. They are 25" long. Picture 1 attaches to the frame and picture 3 attaches to the window. If you don't carry the exact spring, can I use a more "modern" one as long as I replace both?

We have a summer cottage and one of the windows is very difficult to open and close - seems like there is too much tension on the spiral balance. I have no idea what kind these are and would appreciate ant help in identifying them so I can try and adjust the tension to see if that solves our problem ... (cont.)
