26-229 Right Hand Tilt Latch, 2-1/8"

Looking to replace two sets of coil balances and one of the pieces that pull back to release the window to lean in.

This is from a white vinyl double hung with no markings or manufacturer info.

I am trying to find replacement parts for the window latch and lock pictured. I cannot find markings on either the parts or the windows. The windows are at least 20 years old.

This is a tilt latch for a Alumax double hung window purchased in 1996. The picture on the left shows the top view which measures 1 3/4" Long X 5/8" Wide. The double hung tilt latch on my Uniframe window has broken. It is an internal tilt latch.

Hopefully the pictures and illustrations help you find what I'm looking for. Also I would like to switch them to surface mount releases if possible. Thanks

Hello, Need some direction on this internal latch? The top of the window has a oval indent that allows your finger in to move the lever. I don't see any that are a close enough match. has a built in spring 1" length 3/16" dia Thickness is 3/16" Length 3.25" Width 13/16"
