took out window per your video however we can not seem to move the spring at all in order to place it into the hole on outside of casing. the window is year 2005 23 4 bx cmc 11 was stamped on the metal glide and the plastic parts top and bottom don't look broken but more like frozen? ... (cont.)

I am trying to replace some window balances. The stamp on the balance reads 23DS 37 with a small stamp between it that looks like tsb mh. The balance is 24" long and 1/2" wide. Before I purchase replacement channel balances , please check to see if I've identified the correct part. I think I need S390-24, 2330 weight. I have old windows that need the hole balance mechanism changed. the metal to metal length is 24" but I think i should replace the plastic pieces as well. The first window measures 26 inches from end-to-end not including the plastic... That's to say the metal part only. Markins show 25 DS 37. The shorter one 24 inches and 1010 metal only not including plastic. The markings show 23 90 26. Thank you in advance for your help

Hello! I have a need for 2 channel balances (left and right for the same single hung window). They are vinyl replacement windows that I believe were Viking (now owned by Pella) Caldwell 23 2 GR 24" metal length.

determined that the replacement balance I need is the 24" series 395 channel code:S395-24. My question is the old balance has 23 9 FS CALDWELL stamped on it, and I need to know what weight to pick. Thanks in advance

I just purchased your series 395 balance (4). See order number 715249. Now, when I try to close my window, it won't close all the way. It stops about 2" or 3" short. What's wrong?

Hello, I need to first identify my channel balances. I then need to order 4ea. I tried to order them off of your catalog but they look like they may not be standard. Mine are 24" long 1/2" channel (metal channel only) with a #19-005 Top and #15-001 Shoe.

My balances are stamped "23 4 CQ Caldell" and the metal balance is 24" long. I have attached three pictures - one of the stamped info. and one each of the ends of the balances. Can you provide me with replacement balances? Bob
