I have broken pivot shoes on my silverline 1000 series double hung windowsthey are 1/2 inch thick1 3/16 inches wide1 3/4 inches high at the edgethe slots at the top are 10/16 apartthanks for your helpHoward S.

I think I can use the S795-27 changing out the shoe to the 15-194 1" T-Lock. The shoe I have on my window now looks to be longer than the 15-194, will that make a difference? I do not see a way to get the old shoe out of my window, unless I cut the old shoe or flange on the window. Is this an accept ... (cont.)

I was told after two months of getting the wrong part from American Craftsman they said that they no longer have this part. It is the little block at the top of the window frame that the balance string and tab fit into. It measures 1 3/8 long, 7/8 on the out side of the block, 5/8 on the inside wher ... (cont.)

I'm looking for replacement parts for this window. I have a building with several of these windows and they all need a repair of one sort or another. Also hoping you have a diagram of the window and the parts. This would make my life much easier. Thank you

Hello, 1. I need lock/unlock type shoes for single hung vinyl windows. The shoe is 1 and 3/16 inch wide. It is 1/2 inch deep. I don't know the malefactor, but may be Glen-Wen. I suspect they were purchased from Lowe's or Home Depot. The flat metal that covers the coil spring and pulleys is 28 ... (cont.)

My window is vinyl, single sash, tilt in, 36"x60". Balance length is 27", width about 9/16"" or 8/16". I would like to replace the entire balance. The number on the back is SL 26 5 5/10/05. Appreciate your help.

The hook on the tilt shoe that holds down the spring loaded balancer has broken on multiple windows in our home. Once it snaps, it shoots the balancer straight through the window casing. Hello - the balance and spring assembly still works. A cheap plastic piece where the window inserts and pivots at the bottom of the spring assembly cracked and needs to be replaced.
