The balances on both sides are broken.The piece that attaches to the balance on both side of window sash is also broke. This is the same on two windows in house.

Can you tell me what replacement parts that I need to replace both side bottom sash?

I could not find a brand on the lock or header of the window. Window size is 36.75 X 49.25.

Window will not stay up. The plastic cam housings and pivot lock shoes have cracked under pressure and broken off. I believe part of what I need may be #15-087 balance coil. The existing and missing is .5" x 1.25". on all windows, which are from the same batch. So the base shoes, base pins are the same. I have 2 lower sashes, 15 lb each. I have an American Craftsman series 70. Size52x37. I need a balance coil for the left side (looking out). the coil is supported by part # 801020. Not sure what the lb. coil it takes. Will it be OK to replace just the one side? Thank you for any assistance.

On the coil I see stamped "MP" and "90". The windows are inexpensive modern vinyl double hung windows.

We like to know whether Series 161 Coil Balance (8 lbs) can replace the broken unit in the attached pictures. The broken coil unit is 1.25" in width and 0.55" in depth.
