Windows are developing a bit of rust on arms at bottom, though the big issue is corroded lower slide shoes that disengage from the hinge and then jam the windows to prevent proper closure. we have 19 loewen doug fir aluminum clad french casement windows that were taken out of their frames in a remodel. They open out. The rabbit goes all the way across the bottom of the window. The black track guide broke so the window won't close properly. I am trying to fix this window crank. The handle with gear keeps coming out. I am assuming that the entire crank assembly needs replacing. Please advise.

Window will not open or close completely when cranked. Crank is located on the right side when viewed from the inside out.
