39-083 Dual Arm Crank, 21-1/2"

I have a window in my kitchen with an existing awning window lever operator (see attached photos). The handle for the lever operator will interfere with the new faucet that I will be placing directly in front of the window. As such I thought it would be a good idea to change it to a roto gear window ... (cont.)

I believe I have a 39-083 crank operator and want to know if I can switch over to a lever type operator. The crank operator that I have now seems prone to breaking the worm gear inside. this will be my 3rd replacement. Randy

In my photo you can see that the new crank that you sent has a longer arm. On the new crank that you sent the number on the arm is 40395. My old crank with the gold arms has no number on that arm. The second arm on both, however, the one that attaches to the window is the same length--number 30866. ... (cont.)

I need "full case and operator" parts for four almond colored awning styled vinyl windows. The original manufacturers were Ellison Doors and Windows. The windows are from the 'Series 900/950' line. Handle on the small casement window just spins so need to replace entire crank system. Cannot identify part needed as there are no markings. Windows are Barber and Ross, a company that is now out of business so cannot determine what crank supplier they used. Thanks.

Need one clay colored window handle crank stamped US Pat 4.083.264 Can. Pat. 1979 45012. Non folding. Round (non notched) opening is 11/32". Fitting into a square: Length is 3 1/16". Height to center of round opening is 2 1/4 ".

I will be ordering a dual arm crank (Product Code 39-083). Can a "rookie" install the unit or should I look for a window installer to complete the job? Thank you.

I need to replace this part for my window. I cannot find a part number on it so I am not sure it is even an Andersen part. Do you have anything thatmight work? It is all hide under the window sill when done. My home was built in 1965.
