Bought a new house. Windows dont work well. Found out balance springs were replaced with wrong tensions (or that is at least what nice Home Depot employee told me)....BUT I dont know what to replace them with. Also impossible to find out here unless I go to "specialty" glass store... So here a ... (cont.)

The broken channel balance has these numbers printed on them, "26 4 IV CMC 7". Am I correct in assuming that the 26 and 4 are equivalent to your model 2604? The old balance is 27" inn length as measured from end to end of the metal channel only.

Both pivot bars broken (by wife). It's got a weird 'C' hook at the end. Will similar-sized bars work to replace or must be exact?
