Hi, looking for replacement 'cleats' if that's the right word for them...this part anchors one end of a spring and, no surprise, the plastic eventually snapped under the tension. This is a MW window. I'm not sure if the balance can be removed or repaired or even if the balance replacement is available. I can take more/better pictures if needed. I've never repaired a window before but I am somewhat handy and am willing to do the work.

This is from a Crestline aluminum wood clad colonial double hung window from 1995 will your 15-104 friction shoe work ? All Dimensions match. The only difference i can see is the area that receives the sash pin and the friction adjustment screw. The protrusion is greater than the image of your 15-1 ... (cont.)

Double hung Pozzi window. Company out of business. Purchased by Jeld Wen. Customer service, no help. Part is a plastic block one half inch square by 2 1/2 inches long. Good afternoon, I was wondering if you could help find this part. I'm not sure of the manufacturer of window but it holds a spring counterbalance to the window.

25 year old Sun double hung window. Broken sliding part that attaches to the spring for the balance. In close up view of slide, there should be a hook on the right side. After these friction shoes 15-104 are installed in the channel and connected to the spring, I don't know what is the optimal adjustment of "friction" by turning the screw either way. Is the goal to move the shoe to anywhere and it should stay there? How hard should it be to move the shoe up or down? ... (cont.)
