15-104 Caradco Friction Shoe

Are special tools needed to remove and replace the shoe 15-104. I don't want to damage the window as they are 20 plus years old yet in good shape.

This is a good connector with spring attached. Do not know type of window. They are 20 to 22 tears old. Can find no markings on windows. Double hung and they swing in for cleaning.

I have a townhouse rental built in mid 1980s. Tenant complaining about windows not staying up when sash is raised. Inspection shows that balance shoes have a little metal elbow at the bottom which is supposed to be screwed to the bottom of the sash. But the corner of the elbow has rusted and broken ... (cont.)

Please see attached pictures for a plastic part that fits into a channel on the side of the double hung window that the spring attaches to. Two double hang windows need replacement parts pictured. The springs themselves are fine; the hooks on the latches are missing or broken. Sorry that I can't find a manufacturer name anywhere. I am hoping you may have this or something similar.

I am looking for a part to fix my vinyl jamb liners. It is a plastic part that wedges inside a vinyl channel. I have double hung tilt windows and I need help finding the attached replacement part. The hook that holds the spring is broken off. I don't know who the manufacturer was and these windows were installed about 16 years ago but Plute.

Nylon part which holds spring is broken as shown in photo. My window will not stay up. The double hung windows were probably installed around 1986 and I am having a problem finding part. There is no identification on the windows.

I just received the order for clutch pins, but unfortunately they are not the right ones. my windows are 1985 era mw. the raised channel is to high on these, do you have any for mw? Thanks, Doug

The lower window sash for three of my Caradco tilt windows (from 1996) will not stay open. It appears that I need to replace the part that the spring attaches to on each side of the windows because a plastic piece has broken off on each of them.
