Hi, The current channel balance makes a loud squealing sound when the window is moved up or down and lubrication on the balance helped for a few hours and then the noise returned. This pivot shoe is from a PGT 2860 DH impact window. It measures 2" high 1.25" wide and 1/2" deep. There is no cut out in the channel so I would need to cut the vinyl track frame to remove the pivot shoe.

The pivots I bought from you are a slightly different. The new ones have tabs on them and my old ones don't. I'm thinking that maybe they did this so it would fit more windows. They won't work for me as is but If I was to shave off the tabs it looks like they would work perfect. Unless there is a ... (cont.)
