75-006 Spiral Balance Charging Tool for Tilt Windows

Hey guys! I purchased a home that was built in 2002. All the windows are very heavy to open or will not stay up. As much as I would love to replace them I feel that I would get better bang for my buck rebuilding them with quality parts. What do I need to repair them?

No markings found on windows. These were installed about 19 years ago and are vinyl tilt out ones.

Window is about 15 - 20 years old. I need two of these if possible.

The windows use a 3/8 spiral balance 24in long with blue tips,and a sash weight of 15lbs, The pivot shoe measurements is 2" tall 1-1/4" wide and 9/16" thick, which matches the description of part# 15-121, however i read a post stating that part would not work with the 900 series spiral balance. I purchased and received this item. Question about installation. I replaced units but they do not hold up the window. do I have to do something special to "charge" the balance. I purchased the charging tool? Not sure how to proceed. Bob

I have purchased a condo that has double hung vinyl tilt windows. I do not know the brand or age of windows, my guess is more than 20 yrs old. Looking for this part, nylon slide that the balaster goes in. It's 2'' high, 1 1/4'' wide, 1/2" thick. It's a jeldwin window older model, 7100 series. HR50 37x74

I am wanting a more durable replacement. This is the exact correct part but it "self destructs" after 5 years. See the attached picture. Before (new) and after (5 years old).

The metal part that secures the window holder to the spiral balance are either worned or broken. I need 12 replacement metal parts. If you only sell the whole piece will need how to replace existing unless it's just bending the vinvyl just enough to replace the whole piece.
