Determining color tip selection
Sirs: Have 31" spiral balances with red tip, but every window in house falls down immediately. Weight of the window sash is 20 lbs. Would it be helpful to select the blue tip balances to get better, longer performance? Thanks, Eric

I have these 3/8" x 1 7/8" pivot shoes with number marking 200-794. Your 15-045 shoe is listed as 1" wide, however my measurement of the old show is 15/16" Do you have a shoe that is 15/16" wide. Alcoa window balance identification

Tilt window pivot part
Looking for the part that the spiral balance spring attached to. Windows are about 30 years old. No name or Markings on the window pane or frame. Top glass is fixed. About an inch wide by two inch long.

We have 9 double hung windows in our house. 5 out of the 9 will not remain open when you raise them. If you were to raise the bottom half of the window they would free fall shut if you let go of the window. Safety Locks and Slider Parts
We need to replace the window safety stop locks, which should be easy. They are plastic and are basically fall apart when touched. More importantly, the tilt shoes are falling apart. balance rod replacement
Greetings, I currently have the rods in the images in my windows - one won't go up, the other won't stay up. The existing rods measure 27 1/2" from top to bottom of blue bushing. Can these be replaced with current models not having a plastic tube covering? Thanks! Bob A
