Our windows are hard to open and close. We have non tilt sliding windows. Attached is the stamp on the current channel balance. The current balance seems to just be too strong for the weight of the sash. Your help would be amazing. Thank you, Jordan

I'm trying to find a replacement window balance spring for an Atrium window installed around 2010. It is stamped 18 3. The aluminum channel measures 18" long. Hello,Hopefully you can save the day! I'm told these are balancers. The picture shows the good one and the broken one. It measures 29" not including the plastic pieces on each end. Looking for assistance with identifying the correct replacement channel. Channel length: 30" Channel width: 1/2" Pics of channel balance top, bottom, and take out clip attached. There are no visible markings or part numbers.

Notable facts 1. one has a marking 24203 and the other has 2420 with the letters b.s.i but appear the same 2. the balance hook is located in the middle part of the sash (as opposed to being at the bottom 3. also need ID for take out clips 4. 25" long ... Channel is 29" long, 1/2" wide. 2840. 7 is stamped on channel. End fittings are shown in picture. Window clips shown in video are gone.

They are for the top side of the window that lock to the rail

We would like to reorder these balances. Also would like to get extra metal clips and extra of that white piece that is actually attached to window frame ( vent panel? )
