Replacement door lock

Latch Broke On Patio Door Handle

What is the significance of the degrees in the key way (45 vs 90)? I'm pretty sure which mortise lock style I should order but the key way degree difference is confusing me. Recently purchased an 82-218: Mortise Lock, Round Face, 3-11/16" as a replacement for a sliding patio door that had a worn lock. I have a missing inside patio door latch
We are missing the latch/hook and lever that moves the latch/hook up and down on our sliding glass door. So we can't lock it. (We've been using a thick stick in the tracks to lock it). On the tempered glass it says Libby. There are no other markings.
Vinyl SGD 1 1/2" door thickness, The locking latch is a blade rather then square.

We think to be an Old kk (Kolbe) Viewport sliding patio Door (1988). We measured the latch assembly to be .75" W x 4.375" H x 1.19" Deep. Screw hole Centerline is 3.5". My rear door is a slider to the deck and the latch for the lock is missing. No names on the Door. The latch is 4"x5/8". The door is 1 5/8" wide.
