Hello, I have PGT single hung windows PGT part number SH-4000 On 3-4 windows in my house the top sash guide "cap" has broken, in a couple of instances the spring loaded channel balance is now protruding all the way up. my questions are: Do I need a special spring winder or some

I need to identify a non tilt window channel balance guide . the steel is stamped "2730z" the steel part is 28inches long and 9/16 wide . I broke a piece of my window and don't know what to buy to fix it... In the 2nd picture you can see a piece of metal that covers the hole that is in the first picture and I am not sure what that piece is to get. Can you help me? Brittany

We need to order a 1 replacement channel balance which has numbers 29 6 HW CMC 11 on it for a non tilt window. Not sure of type to order. It measures 30 in in length and is 1/2 wide. Alenco is the name on the window lock. Channel measures 9/16" so would be considered a 1/2". Length of metal channel is 28 1/16". Stamped on the metal is the number 270. I'm not sure if I've used the correct angles to take the pics of the parts from for identification purposes. Please let me know an ... (cont.)

Hi I am looking for the top sash plastic piece from Nu Air windows. My house was built in 1978 so they are pretty old. I have enclosed a couple of pictures. If you need more pics I can send them. The sash appears to be 5/8 in wide.

Refurbishing some older windows which I believe were made by Alenco in that late 80's or early 90's. There are three parts that I need to verify part numbers for. I need to replace the non-tilt window channel balances in my 1990 Viking windows as most are a huge struggle to close. The channel balance shoes, tops and caps are all the same. The only one I can figure out to match your parts is the cap which is number 18-009. The stamps on the 1/2" channel ... (cont.)

I have two types of alenco block / tackle lifts - one is labeled 2730 and the other is 2740. Both are 28 inches long, 9/16" wide. Hello, I recently purchased a pair of S390-29 that worked great on one window but when I tried it on the other window I noticed that the sash guide was damaged. I need some help trying to identify it.I included some pictures as followed.

Hi Swisco, I'm looking to replace both channel balances for my bedroom window. Everything I've read suggests I need a 15-004 channel balance shoe (1 & 3/32") and a 28" channel balance (my current one says BSI 2730 on it). That particular shoe has wings.
