I just got the window from salvage, no name anywhere but the spring part says 7.5 on the side.

Hello, I'm looking for replacement oil window springs for the windows seen in pictures attached thank you

I apologize for the picture. the measurements are 17/32" thick-1 7/32" Wide 1 3/4' tall. The windows are Fiberglass and very heavy the shoe moves with the window and the balance springs are fixed the the window frame there is 3 balance springs per side that are stamped with an 8. Hi, I need help ordering a Series 160 Coil Balance, please. I can't determine the weight needed from the stamp. It kind of looks like a zero, so I'm thinking 10, maybe? Looking for a 15lb dual coil constant force balance for a Thermal 9500 series double hung window.

Weight of larger window is about 30 pounds and small window is about 27 pounds. There is one label with 13 on small window and 14 on larger window. I installed coil spring with purchased one at right and left side of window with code S140-14. But spring coil keeps going up when set at "U" shape. ... (cont.)

Window appears to have been forcibly removed shearing off the springs to the window balance. Balance body and shoe appear undamaged.The springs are marked as 6.5 x 35, and #7.5 x 35" respectively.I need the two sets of springs to repair this window balance.Please advise.James

I'm looking for some pivot shoes to replace some where the tabs that hold the coil have broken. I could also use a couple of coils. The coil style I appear to have is an S160 (tab on the end that clips into the pivot shoe). I'm fine with purchasing a kit containing both a coil and a pivot shoe. The ... (cont.)

The one picture above has a number 2 stamped above the screw hole. The plastic measures 1 1/4 by 9/16 thick. The window sash it goes to is 28 1/4 x 24. The other ones have a 5 and a 8 stamped in the plastic but they all are the same type Are there Left and rights?

Hi there. Emailing from UK. Can you help. I have UPVC sash windows. They've been in for around 15yrs. It appears the coil balance has snapped and distorted the other 2 coils (top sash had 3 coils on it). I am trying to see if you have the coil in stock - possible part number 96bu-5 OR i I know it is a 7 1/2 lb constant force spring - any help is appreciated.

Both sides bottom window of double hung window. Coil Balance spring snapped. Removed one side and the only number I could see is " 7.5 " on spring. The rest was unreadable. Is there a product I can install to replace the old balances. The old ones are broken and will probably need to be cut in order to remove. The rail opening is 3/4" wide and 1/2" deep. The sash is 25 1/2" wide by 29" high.Thank you for your assistance.Wayne
