I have a four windows in which the sash keeps falling...... The hinge piece is nominally 5/8 in by 1 1/4.....(length is 1 7/8 in).......it's a fairly tight fit in the track ....... The sash has a 10# by 35 coil spring on each side for a total of twenty pounds ......Looks very similar to your model ... (cont.)

For BF Rich Vintage Vinyl windows. Balance spring is stamped'7'. Would like to buy new springs and the plastic parts (pivot shoe). No part numbers on the plastic parts. Help please! I did post yesterday but didn't have pictures until today. Thank you

A year or 2 I replaced both balance coils that I bought from you, 7.5 160s I think, but the sash never did stay open higher than the original and now they seem to have too much weight and only stay open a couple of inches. Seems like over time the springs got weaker and weaker. Is there something el ... (cont.)

I have double hung vinyl windows. The window to the lower/inside has single coil balances and upper/outside has double coil balances. I'm not sure if this is correct because both sashes weight pretty close to the same. I have 4 of these windows and plan on replacing all of the balances since the p ... (cont.)

0m137 patent pending is the only thing written on them. there are four per window (2 each side) with the one bumper on each side. I have three windows that need these mechanisms and coils replaced. Not sure which parts are appropriate aside from the bumpers--ThanksDavid

The coil springs have broken on both sides of my vinyl window. Not sure what parts I need and don't know how to remove the broken parts as I don't see a slot to slip them out. Do I have any option to fix the window and not replace the whole window itself?

The window i weighed at 30lb. Each spring in the 2 spring units are marked 7.5lb 35 (maybe 35 is length ?? ) the springs are 1/2" wide.I removed both left and right side and to my amaze the springs (2 per side ) were not broken.
