Hi, I have watched a youtube video from buck4mt about replacing channel balances for Milgard windows, which is what I have. My balance is 1/2" wide and 27" long (metal only). The top and bottoms look like the 380 series. My question is about the strength. The stamp on the side is "26 4 FV CMC ... (cont.)

Looking for replacement part for a single hung window. The sash spring is broken so I would like to verify the correct replacement part. The aluminum channel is 27". I'm guessing it is part number is 27" Series 385 Channel Balance Product Code: S385-27 Option 2630? Thanks Trent

Markings: 26 4 FP Caldwell Metal length measures 27" Bottom plastic portion measures 1" depth (vs the 1 3/32 examples??)
