I'm not sure of the correct size of this and I'm not sure how to get it out of the window. I took the valance out of each window but it looks like the shoes need to be replaced as well. I'm thinking this is a 26-in valance with a blue tip

total of six single hung tilt windows. Tube length is 26", with a diameter of 3/8"-ish (appears a touch wider, but I know that is the standard). I'm replacing 40+ year old double hung window springs. The old spring tubes are about 25 1/2 inches long and the tips are blue. I'll need to order about 14 springs, but at this point I'd only like to order two to make sure I get the right product.Thanks for your help.Geoff
