I am trying to find the correct replacement spiral balance for my tilt windows. I understand I need to measure the length of just the tube. Hi I'm going to replace all the balances and tilt latches in my windows. I've added pics of the latches with measurements visible, hopefully that gives you what you need. hey - i'm looking for two window springs - it's a tilt window - the spring rod is 28" and the tube is 3/8 - also, it has a green tip. Not sure if i need shoes as well. I plan on having a professional install them. Pls advise. thx, norm

these are 25'' in length, 3/8 diameter. There is not a color coded tip on these units. Last pic has window factory label. These are Simonton brand. I would like pricing for 10x balance spring units. Replacing 5 windows.
