S900-28 28" Series 900 Spiral Balance

Could you please let me know if the spiral balancer for tilt window (3/8", 28" length) is available with the green tip? Is there a difference between the red and green tip for this balancer? It is for a dual pane window. Thank you!

I will be replacing my spiral sashes with the S900-28 (both color tips for different size windows). I have two questions: 1. Do I have to replace the pivot shoes, or only if they're broken? I have a single hung Better Bilt window, house was built around 1996. Need the spiral balances for one of my windows. They are 28" (main tube only) x 3/8", green tip. Looks like the 900 series is the right diameter, but you show only a 27" and 29". Is there a 28"?

Balances cannot be repaired, they are made to be replaced.

I am trying to place orders on S900 series of Spiral Balance. The existing old spiral balances are exactly 27.5" in length (from the top to the tip color - without count the length of the tip). I have a sprial balance replacement question. Using your site I found that we have a 3/8" x 28" long spiral balance. When I went to buy I had to pick a color tip. The site only shows a red and a green. The ones we have are white. Will the Red work? Thank you, Dave P.

Hi, I figured out which balance I need except the one I have does not have a colored tip as your site mentioned. The window sash is 28 x 30 and double pane. Can you recommend the right color?

I need some series 900 balances 16 & 28 inches. These are for Keller dual pane windows (energy efficient). Would I be better off getting the green tip ones or would the spring action be too strong? Is the red tip ok?

I just had the spiral balance break on our vinyl window. Based on the information on your page, I need the S900 3/8" 28" tube.
