S385-26 26" Series 385 Channel Balance

I am trying to find a replacement for my channel balance. I know I need the Series 385, 26" balance, but I cannot find anything that clearly tells me the weight. Attached is a picture of the only stamp I can find.

Hello, I have a window that slides up and has a broken balance channel, the other widows are stiff as well and "might" need replacement, but first I wanted to check that I have the correct replacement part. 1/2" wide by 26" long window balance. Looking to replace two entire balances, including all necessary parts. I am so sick of removing the sliding window pane altogether when I want to "open the window." Haha.My existing balances are stamped 2540.Thank you for the help.-Scott

I have a Milgard Window Balance with the following label: 26-2 FG5 CMC 51 Which balance do I need for that and will I need any other parts/adapters? Thanks!

There is a stamp on the old channel balance that states 25-5 HD5 CMC 45. What is the weight I should use? Perhaps you can confirm if the S385 is correct as well?

I am replacing the balances on 17 year old Milgard windows. The balances are Extended Travel Balances. Does your S-385 series work the same way. I notice the hook is not at the bottom. Will that make a difference?

S385-26 looks like a match for what I need, but mine measures 26 1/2" . Should I order a 26" or 27" or does it matter? Thank you, Eric M.

Metal part is 26 inches long
