when I raise the windows sometimes the channel balance does not reain fixed to the sash. ideas?

Hello Swisco, I would like to replace two window balancers for a Milgard, single-hung non-tilt window. The width measurement is 1/2" if I measure the top, 3/8" if I measure the width across the bottom (where spring is visible). The length measurement is 27" for the metal bar only or 28" when I in ... The window is 26 lb. the current guide is marked 26-4. Does that correspond to your 2640 option. The window feels very heavy to move, would a 2650 option work as well? The shoe is definitely bigger than 1? see photo. The balance has plenty of wiggle room in the channel - is that okay? 27? length o ... (cont.)

Hi Swisco, I have two Milgard windows which are broken and are the same size. I need to replace this entire balance assembly (2 per window, 4 in total). Stamped on the rail is "26 4 GU CMC 4". Overall, I need to buy 4 assemblies as well as the "Take out clips" which were all broken. Can you please ... (cont.)

Hello, Upon all of my research, I believe I have the correct balance for a 27" (metal only measurement) with a stamp of 26-4 FX CMC 11. Based on what I see I think I need the S385-27 with a 2640 weight range. Can you please confirm? I am confident on my other measurements such as width of channe ... (cont.)
