Replacing four 21 year old spring balances on single hung vinyl windows. The cord has broken on two of them and would like to have two spares. The metal channel is 5/8"x5/8"x29" long. I'm trying to find replacement sash balances for two different window sizes. I believe I found the one I need (S385), but I have no idea what the sash weight should be. I need both 19" and 29" channel lengths. Thanks, PB.

Hi, I think I have the correct part number but I wanted to get input and just make sure. Attached are pictures of my balance. It's 1/2" wide and 29" long. The window weighs about 23lbs. 1/2" wide 29" long balances for non-tilt windows. The only description on the part is: 28 9 OJ BSI. Others have: 28 4 OJ BSI.
