S385-30 30" Series 385 Channel Balance

The sash balances I want to replace measure the metal channel at 30? long, the shoe is 1 3/32? wide, and it is stamped 29 3 BSI PV. What replacement sash should I order?

my channel is 1/2 wide and measures 29'' long no stamp markings to reference. Need a heavy duty replacement these are hurricane proof windows. Thanks Jim

Thanks for posting. Please confirm that the metal channel, not including the end attachments, is 30" long and 1/2" or 9/16" wide. If so, see our S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe ... (cont.)

we think that it's a S385-29, but we don't know what option. We have a 29 4 BT Caldwell and a 29 4 BS Caldwell. See attached pics. We also were thinking on parts 15-004, 16-002, and 19-005 to go with this channel balance. Will that be correct?

It appears that you have either an S380 or S385 balance. The difference between the two series balances lies in the shoe.The series 385 balance has the 15-004 shoe which is slightly larger from front to back, as illustrated.If you measure your shoe as it is pictured here, you should be able to deter ... The top plastic part of the balance in the right side of the Milgard window is showing when the window is closed (see picture). I need 8 of these. The markings on the springs are 29 4 HX CMC 7 I need to get them asap. I will also want new take out clips for each. Are you able to determine the correct set ups from my pictures. I tried to give a couple different angles for the top and bottom.
