Adapt 39-083 to old wood awning sash
I have this operator on a vinyl replacement window. I would like to use this unit on an Andersen wood awning window from the 1960's. It's 41" wide x 18" high. I think I can modify the sash to receive the scissor hardware but I'm not sure if it will push that wide a window out properly. I like the 15 ... (cont.)

Andersen Operator
Do you id window operators by pictures? I was told by people it was an Anderson but some said it wasn't because there was no logo. It's one of those ones used in 60s -70s buildings so it's quite old. Please let me know if you could help me. Thank you!

How to attach the 39-389
I have installed a 39-389 and I am stuck at how to attach the rod to the awning window. I could guess, but I would prefer to be right the first time, and not break the window. Images would be welcomed. Thanks, Cautious and Slow Learner

Andersen Operator Rod
The current operator in our windows is 15", same as the long arm. This barely fits, because the rod has holes in the end to attach t the window, not a bracket. Does the 15" (39-390) have a bracket at the end? Are there any other options for the rod? I'd rather not go with the short arm unless necess ... (cont.)

Can the 39-389 work for a window from 1961?
Hi, I need to replace my Andersen Roto-Operator on 3 awning windows. The arms are about 15" and the existing one looks very similar to product number 39-389; however, I'm almost positive these are the originals, and the house was built around 1961. I found "8-60" in small print on the glass. ... (cont.)
