S395-28 28" Series 395 Channel Balance

I am looking for the 1/2 inch channel balances. The stamp on the old balance is 2740. The top shoe attachment resembles 19-005. The bottom shoe attachment resembles 15-002. I included the photo. The channel balance length is 28". Which series should I order? Thanks.

The existing broken channel balance for a BFS single hung window looks like your series 380 channel balance except for the shoe which has a part that looks like the 15-001 or 15-002. The existing shoe measures slightly over 1 1/16. It is not 1 1/8. The metal part measures 28 inches. Is this a ... (cont.)

28" Window balance is for an Alenco double hung window that's about 13 years old. Metal part of the balance is 28". Balance + guides is 29". Balance has hemmed edges, measures 9/16 across the bottom of the channel and 5/8 on the side of the channel. Markings are 2730, also has a BSI and DL stamp. To ... (cont.)

Hello, I was trying to find the replacement balance for 27-4 on the site and couldn't identify a similar product. It looks like mine comes with 19-005 top head and 15-001/002 shoe. Attached please see the pics - which one should I order?

Please help me identify my balance. I believe the top piece is 19-005 but the bottom foot is hard. It measures 1 2/16" from top spike to bottom, 1 2/26" front to back, and 1/2" width. The only markings on the sash say 2740%

I need a replacement channel balance. I have 3 Alenco bay windows and 2 balances need replacing. The window is 30" x 44 7/8". The 4 digit code on the channel balance is #2740. My house is 20 years old. Thanks in advance for the information. Michael

Dear Swisco: I need to order two 2740 channel blocks completely assembled with balance top 19-005 and balance shoe 15-001. Non tilt window, 1/2 inch. How can I order this configuration? Looking at your website, it looks like I have a 19-005 top and 15-001 or 15-002 shoe on these but I didn't see that combination shown in the 1/2" balance section. Series 351 looks like the good start. The top of my balance is however winged as in 19-005, Channel Balance Top, Winged. The dimensions of 19-005 are the same as in my balance top. The shape of the shoe in series 351 is the same as mine, however the width of my shoe is approx 1 1/16" which is betwee ... (cont.)

I have broken Single Hung Window Channel Balance Spring assembly. It looks like a series 351 from your picture but not 100% sure. It is 1/2" by 28" and the number stamped on it is "2790 30 PA". Between the 2790 and 30 are the letters BSI perpendiculae to them. Cannot find a name on the window u ... (cont.)

I believe I need either the series 380 or 390, however the shoe and top are slightly different. Shoe 15-001 and top 19-005 is the closest match.
