I recently ordered and attempted replacing the channel balances in a customer's windows and thought I ordered the correct sash stops but they are about half the size they need to be. I need to identify and purchase the correct top sash stops. Thanks.

I believe I have Rollyson windows 1984 yr. Channel balance 28 in. Stamped 27-D B.S.I. Window wt. 20 lbs. Bottom shoe looks like your #15-005 and dims. Match. Top looks like #19-031 the width on winds is 1 1/16 on old part and 7/8 on new. Height of old is 7/16 and 5/8 on new?? Sash caps are your ... (cont.)

The channel balance is 28-5/5" long, width 9/16", depth 11/16". The sash weight is 21.2 lb. The balance is marked 28 C along it's length and BSI across as in the picture. I have a two-piece casement window with the lower casement that slides up to open and down to close. The broken piece is at the top of the lower casement and the piece ensures that the channel balance stays in place when the window is being opened or closed.

Just purchase 4 S371-34 : 34" Series 371 Channel Balance units and came to find out during installation that one of the top sash guides was broken which allowed one of the channels to slide up when the window was closed. The 18" (1720) balance I need appears to have 15-005 bottom sach and 19-037 top sash. I am a contractor and need to change them for 14 windows (total needed 28). do you have any fully assembled I can order? Thanks, Nick

Your 380 Series matches my older Caldwells. I have question with weight. My Caldwell say 27 4 JJ. I would assume the 4 is weight and around 50(or more).
