A string/pulley mechanism broke on a channel balance for one of the sashes of a 3060 Mull window. The other channel balance is still functional. The involved sash weighs 24.7 lbs. On my tilt type vinyl window, there is a piece on each side that connects the rope to the spring. The spring is connected to the tilt lock guide shoe which connects to the window itself. on both sides, the spring-to-rope piece is broken where it would attach to the spring. i could send a photo but ...
