The width is 1/2 inch and the length is 27 inches. I'm not sure which series I need. Number stamp appears to be 26 4 JE CALDWELL

the rod is 29" long I hope the pictures are of some help the numbers on the rod are 28e50 they are on the rod in a machine print as well as with a marker written by hand

I have my choice narrowed to the series 380 or series 385.What is the difference between the 15-005 and the 15-004 bottom shoe. My windows utilize the Caldwell Sash Balance System and I need to replace some of them. Printed on the metal channel is "27 4 CP CALDWELL". I reviewed all your pictures but am unable to match the ends of the channel balance I need. Pictures are enclosed. Markings on the channesl are 23 D and B.S.I. Width of the channel is 9/16" and the width on the channel plastic top is 1-7/16, bottom is 7/8.

Do you sell replacement balances and parts for this window made by Gapco? The lower end plastic part is broken and the balance had the number 2740 on it and measures 28 inches from end to end of the metal part as shown in your instructions for measurements. Greetings. Attached are photos of the ends of my balance. It is 28.75" long (metal part only), so I presume this is a "29-inch" balance. It is also 9/16" wide (1/2 series, right?). Stamped on it is 2830 Q. The closest match I could find on your site was series 371 with the 19-031 and 15-005 end ... (cont.)

I have a sash guide that does not match exactly your pictures. The metal U shaped channel is 30 inches long and 9/16 inch wide, 5/8 inch deep. The window is 6 yrs. old.
