15-014 Balance knife lock Shoe

Hiya, I have a few Marvin Tilt Pak window track springs in need of replacement. They look a lot like the 750 and 795 series channel balances but the bottom (shoe??) is pictured. We have some 27" long stamped "26K" and another 21" long stamped "P20K" thanks for your help!

I need to replace two of the window balances on one of my windows. I included pics of the part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.John

These are the older style with black clutch pre 2004 all upper sash on double hungs. Will the new balances need to be made smaller since the new balance are different clutch style and will I have to change to new style pivot ? Balance is 36" looks like the S751 but the metal channel is plain instead of ribbed?

Steve says this is a custom combo balance. The channel measures 27". The stamp on the side is - J 26 TG I don't have the exact weight of the sash. It is a large window. Is the TG stamp close enough? I have a double-hung (non-tilt) window where the upper sash does not want to stay fully closed. It sags just a bit, leaving a drafty gap at the top of the window. I've got a tilting window with 22in plain channel balancer. They are labeled 21TG. The pulley mount is broken on one side. None of the preassembled balancers on your website match. The shoe appears to match a 15-014 but I think it is the top of the shoe that is worn away. The closest balancer ... (cont.)

I have a 21" long balance 9/16" wide. One end looks similar to one of yours but the bottom end does not. I have included photos of both ends.Thanks for your help.Doug

Hi,I have 7 Marvin Windows - all were installed in 1986 when we built the house. All are the same except the sizes. See attached stamp photo for marking. Appears to be a single PVC track, 3-1/2" wide w/ a neoprene sweep on the exterior face that snaps into concealed clips mounted in a rabbet (see photo). My jamb liner double hung tilt windows have pretty much two (top and bottom) identical sashes, each of which weights 22.6 lbs. I have balances that have two different stamps, one is 30HD G.S.I. Window make is Weather Shield, bought around 2001. Double hung, tilt. Have several windows that won't open, won't stay shut, etc.

Hello, I have a tilt window that I am not sure of the manufacture. The channel measures 21" long appears to not be ribbed. I need the knife shoe at the bottom if that is available and if not the whole balance. I need 4 this size at a minimum. I also attached the window part number for reference.
