I am trying to find a replacement for the channel balance on my window as seen in the pic. It has trouble recoiling back up when opening the window. It is 27" long (also 5/8" wide) and stamped 26 and 3 (as you can see in the picture. I'm not sure what the 3 means or which channel balance to or ... (cont.)

Hello, This is the first time I've tried replacing these and I was hoping you could help me to identify which balance I need. Hello, so obviously the picture on the right is the crank the strip of metal on the left is the piece attached to the bottom of the window sash that the guides on the end of the arms to open and close the window

Enclosed are photos of an old patio sliding door latch. The mechanism to move the latch hook seems to be working fine. The problem is that the latch hook no longer will stay connected with the eye.
