Hello, I need some advice with Pivot Shoe selection. It is 2.0" high, 1.25" wide. I measured the thickness while it was installed and it could be 17/32" or 9/16" (not sure). See photo. This accessory will go with the 40" series 600 spiral tilt window balance. Product Code S600-40 that I will have to also order. The part in the picture is where the bottom tabs of the window go in to and then it slides in the track.

Are the spiral balances a good replacement for old coil spring balances? I would like the finish of the exposed portion to be white. Thanks Steve M

I'm looking for that type of balancing channel, not even Shute if that's the name for it, it's rounded and for a double hung windows, very old.

hi: i cannot find window tilt latch or balance coupling after looking at all the local HW stores. Mine is shorter than all the latches available. Can you help please. The measurements of my shoe seem to match this part, however, my cam color is WHITE and there's BLUE in the back. Do the colors signify anything I should be aware of or can I just go by the measurements? (The window is a tilt Crystal Windows & Door System likely Series 2000A)

Balances are working fine. However, the plastic part that connects the balance to the window guide has failed. How do I go about repairing these? I have 2 windows, only one side is broken on each. Do they both sides need replacing or just the broken side? Is this normal wear and tear? How long do the windows last? Thanks, Lisa S
