Above are pictures of the two parts in my window. I need help choosing what to purchase. The window weighs 18 pounds and it's a single hung window. The top part has two coil springs in it. I have been told by the manufacturer that I have Simonton dimension 1 series windows in my home manufactured 4/16/1996. The window will not go up and down smooth. Can you supply me parts?

Good grief! First time window repair. Bought 1997 home and a lot of these are broken Can't find MFG info. Numbers barely visible on spring on bottom pivot: 6.5 33" T523203 ??? I think my tilt windows were made by Alliance. The lock on the top has that name. They are about 20 years old but in good condition. The channel has something that looks like a coil spring but it's all messed up. I also need the correct size plastic lock that holds the window in the channel. Help! S ... (cont.)

Hi, I have a Simonton Dimension II single-hung windows that were installed 22 years ago, and now one has a broken coil balance. The balance has two 1/2 inch wide coils and one of them broke. My windo has no opening to remove the parts to replace with new ones. Also how do I know what parts to order.

The white plastic cover for the flat coil-based balance spring has weakened in the sun, causing it to crack, making it difficult to open and close the double hung window.
